Adekunle Ajasin University Students in Abuja has yesterday staged a peaceful protest against the outrageous amount of tuition fee released by the school management last week.
The students who were seen on major streets in Abuja carried placards and cardboard with various descriptions to make their grievances and agitation known against the newly released tuition fee of the institution.
It will be recall that the students of the school had before now staged protest in other parts of the country such as Osun, Lagos, Akure, Ekiti, not leaving the hometown the Ondo Governor, Odunayo Akeredolu hails from which is Owo.
The new tuition fee was increased from minimum of N23,000 and maximum of N35,000 to N120,000 and N180,000, respectively.
However, the Student Union of the institution have pend the nationwide protest after meeting with the State governor in Akure yesterday. The governor has assured the students of the institution that the newly released tuition fee will be reduced drastically.
