I Wouldn't Sit Back And Allow You Turn Akure Into Something Else For Me - Akeredolu To AAUA Students



The Ondo State Governor, Odunayo Akeredolu as said every student of the Statement Polytechnic in Owo, Ondo State, will pay for things destroyed during the last protest held in January within the school premises over No school payment, no exam policy introduced by the management of the school.

He made the assertion during the swearing in of the Ondo Chief Judges, Olutoyin Akeredolu.

Also, on the protest staged by Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, the governor is of the believe that the students were been sponsored by opposition party for staging the protest in the state capital as he said, "I won't sit back and allow you turn Akure into something else for me"

He said the students should move their protest to their school in Akungba and the school is not situated in Akure.

Recall that, the students began their protest on Monday to go against the hike in tuition fee by the Ondo government led by Akeredolu.

Students, parents, market women, and traders arrested today were been alleged of attacking the governor's covey and would to be charged to court, as report had it.
