NANS Lauds DANA Airline Over 20% Discount To Students.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has hailed the management of Dana Airline for offering Nigerian students 20% discount on all their route.

The members of the Nationa Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is also among the beneficiary of this discount.

In a statement by the National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Idowu Odebunmi, once they have Naija Green Card", the discount would be accessible.

He commended the effort of the airline saying that it would ease the movement of students and corp members.

"This is a commendable effort that will ease the movement of students and Corp member from one place to another, especially students on research mission and corp members that are travelling to far states in the course of obeying the clarion call."

"We don't need a century to effect a change, all we need is effective preparation to provoke unusual transformation," Comr. Odebunmi said.

The leadership also appreciate Dana Airline for their Corporate Social Responsibilities noting that they have provided value that is worthy of emulation.



Comr. Odebunm said "Their passion and commitment to health and well being of Nigerians is a worthy causes that every corporate organization should emulate, such as partnering with Global Image Foundation to fly Medical Doctors to Akwa Ibom on a free health service to underprivileged, Passionate and Commitment in fighting Cancer by partnering with Child Living With Cancer Foundation, Project PinkBlue Cancer Awareness, provision of free air flying for a team of 20 US based Medical Doctors who are on free health mission to Nigeria and partnering with other Non governmental organisation."

"They  have shown massive resilience in spite of the multiple challenges, providing value added services at all times," he added.

In its effort to appreciate the Airline, NANS resolved to honour them with an award.

"... the leadership of all Nigerian students schooling home and diaspora with population of over 40.1mollion has resolved to honour DANA AIRLINE as BEST CSR COMPANY OF THE YEAR and to serve as DANA AIRLINE AMBASSADOR For its innovations, CSR, popularity, National spread and online engagement, made the list of top 50 brands 2017 for the 3rd time consecutively, at the Brands Nigeria Leadership Forum held recently at Oriental Hotels, Lagos, above all offering 20% for Nigerian Youth and Students under Naija Green Card," Comr. Odebunmi revealed.

NANS however called on all corporate bodies and agencies to emulate this great feat by Dana Airline.
