[EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW] Harris Plans To Release New Single "Malo Pretend"

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: Can we meet you?

HARISS: Nwabasili Chiagozie Harrison better known by his stage name Harris is a rapper, singer and songwriter who rose to limelight after the release of "Red line" with massive downloads.  Harris who hails from Aguata, Anambra state was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Nwabasili on march 18 1999.

Prior to singing to YBR music, Harris used to be a drummer and a vocalist in the church there on he discovered his love for rap before dropping his debut single "Red line" which had massive downloads which was after the release of a couple of covers of rap songs. Harris is a prolific writer and an in depth lyricist with lots of creativity at his disposal.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: When did you start music?

HARRIS: Music started for me professionally 2017

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: Can you tell us about your educational career?

HARRIS‬: I graduated from Toluwani comprehensive high school Ikorodu, Lagos. Presently a student at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), studying biochemistry.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: What record label are you in presently?

HARRIS: Currently signed into YBR music.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: How far has the label helped you in your music career growth?

HARRIS: You see nobody knows it all and that's what the label has thought me, it has thought me a lot, in and outside music.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: What is your relationship status like and why?

HARRIS‬: I'm single and seriously wouldn't wanna rush into one now.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: Can you tell us the reason behind your upcoming single "Malo pretend"?

HARRIS‬: Lol, wow!! How you got to know about that baffles me guess i owe those publicity credits to the team. Recently the music scene has been invaded with lots of the "shaku shaku" vibe with no message in the song, so i decided to try something different, make a street song everyone out there can vibe to and at the same time pass a message. It's just like killing two birds with a stone.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG : What date will it be released?

HARRIS: Still working on some massive promotions, more than what "Red line" had. So if i was to give you a particular date I might just be lying.

EMPIRE MEDIA NG: What should your fans expect from you in few months/years time?

HARRIS‬: They should expect a lot, more hit singles and videos.
