#TIBA2020: Brand Launches Magazine, Recognises Entrepreneurs with Awards Nationwide

The Iconic Brand Awards (TIBA)2020 may have come and gone, but the memories will continue to linger in the hearts of Entrepreneurs across the country who were finally rewarded for their hard work, creativity, dexterity and ability to keep their heads up amidst the global pandemic that brought untold hardship on businesses globally.

Organized by Crystal Edge Professional services, the second edition of the illustrious awards held in 3 different locations in Nigeria, with over 25 award categories and nomination that gave birth to over 100 winners.

Lagos being the economic hub of Nigeria and host of the first edition in 2019, was also the first location for TIBA 20′ on Nov 21. The event had in attendance the major stakeholders in different industries ranging from Business, Coaching, Media, Fashion and Design, Young and Upcoming minds, Creativity and Teens, and many more.

Top on that list is Gospel Singer Monique and comedienne Apaokagi Maryam (Taaoma) who won the award for Entertainer of the year.Also, different awards were given out to notable personalities and corporate brands like JFK Events, Temi Popoola, Shola Dawodu, Ehi Esther amongst others. The event also saw the launching of Crystal Magazine, a publication from organizers of the awards, to set the pace for what was to come in other locations.

The City of Porthacourt played host to TIBA 20′ on Nov 28 in continuation of the nationwide support for SME’s, individual brands and corporate recognition. Toping the awards recipient list are Segun Manuel, Simon Taiwo, ini Ajah, Chineye Vivian David and other notable entrepreneurs and brand experts.

The Awards climaxed at the countries capital in Abuja on the 5th of December as Notable Entrepreneurs and corporate brands like Mojisola Ogundipe, Audrey Chukwuma, Joseph Eliabson, Faith Iyahen were all celebrated for there undiluted resilience and outstanding performances in their various fields.

Speaking at the end of the event, the convener, Omobabirin Adeola Oshideko expressed her gratitude to God who has been the pillar of the movement while also specially appreciating her team from PCD academy and all those who supported her at different stages towards making the event a success.

When quizzed on why she chose to use her platform to celebrate young entrepreneurs, she said that it has been her long time passion to celebrate excellence and hardwork, and that it is her own little way of giving back to the society for all she has been able to achieve.

Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko (Msc, FCCA, CPA) is a graduate of University of London where she obtained her MSc in Accounting. She is also a Chartered Accountant in UK and Canada, her passion for writing, teaching and public speaking, is what launched her into what she does presently. She is also a Training Consultant, Branding Expert, a Writer, a Published Author and an International Speaker 

Currently Adeola is the Principal Partner of Crystal Edge Professional Services a Lagos based training and brand consultancy company who are also the organizers TIBA Awards.
